Residential Decorating Contest

The DeMotte Chamber of Commerce
is introducing a
brand-new tradition to DeMotte!

“Christmas Around DeMotte” is a month-long Holiday campaign designed for the businesses, shoppers and residents of DeMotte. There is something for everyone, check it out! Like and Share the Official Christmas Around DeMotte Facebook group.

November 26^th (Small Business Saturday) through December 25^th businesses and residents will be decked out for Christmas! Whether you are a business or a resident, you are invited to register to be put on a map that people can drive around and view some great Holiday-scapes.

• Residents: You do NOT need to be a DeMotte resident. You DO need to register to be included on the map and eligible to win the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize will be a basket of gifts from local businesses.
  • Decorate the outside of your home or property. Your decorations must stay displayed from November 26^th-December 25^th to be eligible to win.
  • Providing your address will get you put on the map to have people drive by and cast votes on the official Christmas Around DeMotte Facebook group.
  • Deadline to register your residence is Friday, November 18^th.
  • Voting will only take place on Facebook.
  • Facebook votes will be taken until noon on December 26^th and the winner will be announced on December 26^th at noon.

We invite and encourage everyone to participate and promote this festive and fun tradition in-the-making!
