Position Summary:

The Outdoor Activities Team Member is responsible for delivering a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all Mooville guests. This role focuses on supervising outdoor activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures, and providing friendly, high-quality customer service. Team members serve as positive ambassadors of Mooville by creating a welcoming environment and assisting guests of all ages.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively monitor guests participating in outdoor activities to always ensure safe behavior.
  • Follow all Mooville safety policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Conduct daily routine safety checks on activity areas, equipment, and surroundings.
  • Clearly explain rules, safety guidelines, and proper use of equipment to guests
  • Respond quickly, calmly, and appropriately to incidents, injuries, or emergencies.
  • Report safety concerns, hazards, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
  • Greeting guests warmly and assist them with activities, questions, and directions.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging experience for guests of all ages.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints with courtesy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Encourage participation and help guests feel comfortable and confident during activities.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain smooth operations.
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and general cleanliness of activity areas.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and follow Mooville dress code standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily operations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, and procedures consistently.
  • Have a friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy or stressful environment.
  • Previous customer service experience in an outdoor recreation or safety role. (Preferred)
  • Be able to lift moderately heavy objects.
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
  • Able to handle a moderate activity level and maneuver quickly.
  • Dependable, Available, Responsible, Teachable & Reliable.
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities

 

Work Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift, carry, or move equipment as needed (within reason)
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak activity times.
