DeMotte Christmas Parade
Here is another great event brought to you by the DeMotte Chamber of Commerce! The DeMotte Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, November 30th around 3:45pm (CST). It’s free for all residents, businesses and organizations to enter. But you MUST enter. Go to https://demottechamber.org/christmas/#parade to sign up online for free!
NEW PARADE ROUTE IN 2024!!! The parade route is from American Reformed Church parking lot across from DeMotte Elementary School and will proceed north to Spencer Park.
Parade Entrants: Be at American Reformed Church on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 3:30pm for line-up. The parade will commence around 3:45pm (CST)
* Open to any business, organization or resident/family. You MUST register to participate.
* Halleck St. will NOT be closed; however, police escort will take place.
* NO CANDY CAN BE THROWN. This is because the road is not closed and for the safety of everyone involved.
* CANDY AND GOODIES can be given at Spencer Park once we arrive following the downtown parade.
* Once at Spencer Park, the official tree lighting will take place near the basketball courts.
* Santa will be taking children’s Christmas gift requests at the band shell following the tree lighting.
